Mumbai: Arena Animation successfully hosted the Mumbai edition of Creative Minds 2025, its flagship talent showcase for Animation, VFX, Gaming, and Multimedia students across Maharashtra.
The full-day event at Rangasharda Auditorium celebrated creativity and technical excellence, drawing participation from more than 850 learners in the AVGC-XR (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics & Extended Reality) sector.

The Creative Minds 2025 platform enabled students to present their original projects conceptualised and developed under expert faculty mentorship.

During the ceremony, over 80 awards were conferred across diverse categories. Top-performing students, including Yash Hole (3D Character & Prop), Yash Pangarkar (3D Character Animation Sequence), Tanmay Santosh (3D Character Animation Sequence), and Brishti Kamlay (UI/UX Design), received WCEL Golden Tickets, advancing to the World Creative Excellence League (WCEL) Finale.
Creative Minds 2025 Features Insightful Sessions from Industry Leaders
The Mumbai edition also featured knowledge sessions led by industry experts Rahul Bhatia, Head of Training & Development at Adnet Global, and Prashant Nair, CG Supervisor – Film & Episodic at Framestore India.
They shared practical insights on animation workflows, production pipelines, and visual storytelling, offering students valuable exposure to real-world industry practices.

Speaking at the event, Sandip Weling, Chief Business Officer (Global Retail Business), Aptech Limited, and Brand Custodian, Arena Animation, said that Creative Minds 2025 continues to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry readiness.
He applauded the outstanding creativity displayed by students and expressed confidence in the participants advancing to the WCEL Finale.
